    Konica Minolta c353 Thin Lines

We have a problem with thin lines across the page that are on the transfer belt. We've replaced the transfer belt unit but this has not fixed it. It looked like a cleaning fault also the belt was nicked too. These lines are black, magenta and yellow about 50mm apart acoss the page. Any thoughts

Does this happen on both copies and prints?

Yes printing and copying. U can see lines formed on belt which that rub off (More like latent image) lead me to replacing unit ,especially as belt was nicked too. Can't be pcus as lines are all colours- guess must be drive? to transfer unit. All my experience is with Ricoh, so i'm going in bit cold and learning as i go, got the manual so thats something.....

Could you scan in a sample of this fault? It could well be the mfp board as they can cause this fault. But without seeing an example its hard to tell..

Does it look like sheet music? Had a c203 do that and it turned out to be the mfp board!

              Regards!

I had one do this but it only did it during copying and it was the mfp board.

No this a normal cq fault as such. Has been suggested in our office that IU chips may have been replaced so units may be causing fault- obviously they are showing only 20% or so used
