[CQ] bizhub501 fax speed

Is there a reason a 16 page fax could take 52 min? Is the speed on the phone line and the machine not set properly? Have not had this issue on the minolta. I have had issues with ricoh and older phone systems.

transmission rates fluctuate depending on line quality. that said is this unit on voip?

Set your scan default resolution to the lowest (100x200), under fax communication in service mode, set ECM to OFF, and coding to MH/MR. If this doesn't speed things up, check for low quality x-mission (noise). Emujo
