    Konica c360 with c3923 code

A fellow tech has an issue with a Konica c360. It keeps throwing this code (c3923). reset code and 7 minutes later it codes out.

As far as he remembers the fuser, power supply, and PRCB have been replaced. harness test good.
    Nothing in ssd solutions.

    Any body have an answer?
And Star Trek was just a tv show...yeah right!

It reads as a pressure roller thermistor error. Is the thermistor in contact with the pressure roller? Is it making a connection to the main body (connector problem)? Is it making connection at the PRCB? Just 'cause it's new doesn't make the thermistor touch the roller. It's time to get out the VOM and start taking resistance readings back to the PRCB. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
      1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
      2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
      3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
      4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
      5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Manual also mention to check if the right side door is latching properly.

So for that 7 minutes printing is normal?

All the fuser temp settings on default?
          Whatever

My machine switched on and after 7 minutes it gives the code - after fault finding I found that the heater lamp was faulty - just do visual inspection or test resistance on lamp - that will quickly give you an indication

I'm hoping they have already figured this out since the question was asked over 8-years ago.

That's a thermostat. It's thermal protection, with a metal disk inside that warps to break the connection when the fuser excess a certain temperature. If you remove it from the fuser and bang it against the table, sometimes it will reset.

i had a video of me resetting one 3 or 4 times against the table.
                    they are re-settable.
in the olden days we would put them in the freezer to reset. or hit 'em with an upside down aircan to freeze.
We know a thing or two because we've seen a thing or two.
                    The medication helps though...
