[CQ] Bizhub 423 - Black Prints!

Just been to look at a Bizhub 423, the machine was printing & copying solid black pages, but intermittently it would start working OK.
I took the K IU out, cleaned all contacts etc, reassembled it & still it would print out black pages, if I tried to print the counter list for example this would be black & from what I could see no text on the page.
Any idea what could be causing this, I was a little lost as to what it could be!?

no charge = black prints

Thanks, I suspected a charge fault. Is the HVT the one that sits just behind below the image unit?

a bad contact in the drum can cause this problem to.

Thanks, i'll order a new IU.
but my question about the HVT is it the board below the IU? & can that cause my issue!?
