    [CQ] FS-C5100DN registration wonders

I showed my client how to adjust registration on her FS-C5100DN printer as it often wonders off. She just called to say it's way off and she wants me to come & take a look. None of my other color printers wonder off like this one, any thing I am missing?
    Thanks

Worn transfer belt will cause this. Our fellow member tmaged told me about a product called Blow Off. He says it works well on transfer belts.
This may be it: Private Label - Electronics Cleaner

If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Belt Okay, Reg was off in both directions. had to go to "9" about 10 times to bring in side to side. top to bottem ( direction of belt travel) not off as far.
      Thanks G

There's a bulletin regarding this which involves sending a prescribe command to reset the registration so it doesn't keep happening

type kibbs on the search here and see the post by that fella. So you are saying there is a bulletin but not posting the number or the content. I understand some do not want to post the actual bulletins as the manufactures forbid the copying of their documents, but you can post the bulletin number and some brave warrior will look it up and post. Mentioning the bulletin number is not against the manufacture policy , but is rather beneficial to them.

Not remembering is not a sin and is a valid answer. Thanks for replying though. kyocera firmware fix and registration tool does not fix this for me, yes that't the one they still have on their connect website. doing the registration multiple times untill it is stable is the only way i have got this to work. transfer belt and the rest menitoned does not solve this problem. only thing i did not really pay attention to is the patch sensor shutter someone mentioned.
Kyocera has not come clean with this problem as to a definite resolution to this rather annoying problem.

Thanks for your offer. I visited the kma website and saw the fs-5350 firmware as below

                          FS-C5350DN Combined Firmware 08/15

Is the 5100 and 5350 using the same firmware ?. What is the lastest f/w you have listed for the fs-2626. just want to see if the uk and north america has different versions.
