    Code c2600

Getting intermittent c2600 code on km-5035
checked operation of each tray for smooth lift
checked connections from motors and boards
checked gear trains for cracked gears
    reset 906 and tested tested
ran for week code came back
    any suggestions would be helpful

    thanks, csc

The code is related to the left cover safety switch. It's has 3 switches in one, if one of them is not closing right the code will pop up. Make sure the left cover is closing OK. Sometimes finisher pulls cover away a bit.

I have seen the same problem/fix once before about a year ago on a KM-3035

thanks for the input. we ended putting new motors on both trays and it seems to be working, but, if this comes up again i will check the suggested switches. thanks again for the suggestion. rb

The machine must have some kind of jamming problem when the customer removes the jam then they are not closing the left cover correctly. I would check your jam codes to find out why that cover is being opened and closed to remove the jams.
