So how are the TASKalfa 4550ci, reach PM cycles, run good or ???

I'm thinking of picking up the service on a couple of 4550ci/5550ci , they have around 350-500k on with color and blk/white meters split about in half.
Is this a good box or should I stay away?
Will they make it to the 600k PM cycle?
How long will the fuser go?
    Toner yields OK?

We found toner yields to be an issue so we stopped the service on our Kyocera's. Transfer belts and fusers seem to last forever if you run them to life though.

very rarely do they make it to the pm cycle but they warranty the machince for 600k so you can get credit for the parts that dont last the 600k

The rollers fail around 100K ... unless you sub in the standard Konica Minolta rubber. I'm getting better yields from them. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
        1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
        2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
        3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
        4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
        5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

I'm a fan of the machine and an even bigger fan of the newer xx51ci series, they are generally profitable units for us.

In comparison to TA250ci to TA500ci, way better.

Drum/developer rarely fails but the main charge tend to swell after 300,000 or earlier. Feed pulley as Blackcat said doesnt last til 300k.

Fuser tend to fail. Well, kyocera fuser tend to fail, its the norm.
Idling colour developers are not healthy developers.

Are there any differences between Taskalfa 4550ci and Copystar 4550ci ?

None at all. Change the badge & sim and it's a Kyocera.
                  Hope that helps !

Yep, as tmaged said they are exactly the same. As are Utax.
