I have this machine leaving four light lines sporadically. I measured the distance and it is drums. Just wondering if anyone else has seen this?

Re: TaskAlpha 3051ci Leaving Strange Lines
Is this happening only to your copies? This HAS to be a occurring at the optics. Those are RGB (plus void) bands which would indicate some kind of refraction. For the print engine to be responsible for this, it would take a very specific set of highly unlikely circumstances. -
Re: TaskAlpha 3051ci Leaving Strange Lines
In that case, you should try to isolate if the problem is occurring at the print engine or image processing level. I honestly have no good explanation for this other than something to do with the LSU. I would, at the very least, run the cleaning option from the maintenance menu and if that does nothing, pull the LSU and visually inspect.Comment

Re: TaskAlpha 3051ci Leaving Strange Lines
I suspect a shorting or discharging black drum unit. The simple way to diagnose this is to swap the black drum unit with the magenta drum unit, then print something like this: =^..^=Attached FilesIf you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
