I have had a couple of machine fall off of KFS lately and I have had a couple of machines give me that 200 code. I feel that this is a KFS issue.

All firmware is up to date and the latest Gateway is running. Directly connected machines, via the network, are going Off-Line also.

Trying to ADD Devices today and am getting a error: The connection status with Manager is offline.

Put the gateway on a customers computer and getting this error and also on my work computer. Is this a KFS problem on Kyocera's end?

Go into the Network setting and verify IP address. Make sure you turn off DHCP and Auto IP after you verify address. (this way the machine can not grab another IP address, also it that is an issue I suggest setting you machine up on something out of DHCP range like 30 to 40). Make sure you have the domain input in the machine also. Also verify that the Access Code in input in the machine and sometimes I re-input it just to make sure. Then after you have all the setting correct try restarting the machine.

              Note:
You do not have to install the Kyocera Gateway to get Kyocera machines of show up on your KFS, this is just for none Kyocera machines.

You have to call Kyocera & have them do it. If a machine was previously registered, you can default the settings in U520, but if the installing dealer never deleted it from their account, Kyocera has to get them to remove it.
                Hope that helps !

FYI, most KFS connection issues I've been able to resolve with; 1-DNS-google 8.8.8.8, 2-firmware. We have only a handfull which won't connect at all. Hope this helps.

Does anyone know the username and password for the gateway? I was almost positive it was admin and admin1234 but those aren't working.

Is there a setting that will keep them ON LINE and not reporting that they are OFF LINE?

In U520 if you go to Setting: On/Off Config > and select off, Off Disables TDRS and allows you to re-register the device without any intervention from Kyocera. It resets the KFS status to factory like new status.

Slowly reread my post. If the original dealer doesn't delete the machine from the KFS system, you won't be able to register it. When you try, after reinitializing U520, KFS knows the machine already exists in the database. You have to get them to delete it from KFS so you can register it.

I have done this numerous times and was able to register the equipment as new. You do not need the other dealer to do anything. We purchased quite a few Kyocera "Kick Off" machines that were on the Kyocera show fleet services system. The tech rep advised me to use the U520 to clear them and it works.
