Why are we firmware hunting for this series. At best you find it and someone provides it for you.

Do you know how costly the maintenance kit for this thing is? The only scenario i would take this machine is if you paid me to recycle this with dynamite.

Hi, Would it be possible find this firmware somewhere, or can anyone share once more? I do have a problem with the scanner on my250ci, it makes a notice cannt use 2-side .. because of a fault. thx.

Make sure all your adf connectors are properly seated and run 906 in Maint mode.

That might get you in the clear.

I did try this and now I do have a C3210 error.
What can be wrong?

Sounds to me like you've got a bad CIS in the ADF. And get the cooling fan while you're at it. Plan on spending $1200 for the parts if you can get them. =^..^=

if anyone could google it and get the firmware and instructions on how to install it. where would it leave us kyocera techs. who spent years training and working on those machines? as black cat mentioned kyocera techs. have access to the website for firmware downloads. give one a call and they will come get you back up and running.

FYI, latest found on Internet is : Firmware_TASKalfa_250_300_400_500ci_16.24.0010 dated 2016-08-18.
