    Kyocera P-6035 K drum unit

    Hi all

I visited a Kyocera P-6035cdn was getting no image, so I removed all the drum units and it looks like the K charge roller as melted to the PCU and managed to free itself off pulling the PCU off the drum at the same time, I will try post some pictures shortly, just wondering has anyone else had this problem?

    cheers

      Wow! That's really nice!

i've seen plenty of those crossfeed bars , but never was the primary melted to the drum. I thing it's reasonable to presume that you have some acing going on.

I hope that you going to change the black drum and developing unit, then calibrate.

If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
      1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
      2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
      3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
      4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
      5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

the K drum has done less then 500 prints in the past 2 years, to me it looks like toner has stuck to the charge roller and while its not been used its welded itself to the drum.

no I think BlackCat is more on the right track... voltage arcing is more likely.
