[CQ] Taskalfa 2551 colour shift issue

Please help...... I have this TA2551ci at customer's site, it jumps color as shown in the attached. I performed 464 on it and color became normal.

After two weeks customer called again that issue re-occured. please help as this is driving me nuts!.

What firmware version is the machine on? & the transfer unit life count?

2016.03.08. i will ask a site engineer to get me the maintenance report to get the transfer belt count.

what else should i be looking at?

If I remember 464 has little to do with color registration....so did you perform color registration?

On all Kyocera machines, if the density isn't correct for any of the colors, it will throw the auto registration timing out. This could be caused by any number of things, but make sure each color is nice & dark.

If I remember 464 has little to do with color registration....so did you perform color registration?

Registration manual or Auto?
Auto wont work. setting manual registration is hell of a task
464 has calibration option related to registration. this resolved the issue the 1st time. or could it be a gimmick?

can you please give a pointer to those things to look out for?

I always start with the 089 prints. Make sure there are no light areas and that the solids are dark. Try some of the other test charts that Blackcat has posted or others.
