    KYOCERA M6026 folding paper @60mm

    HI ALL,

I've got a Kyocera M6026 that is folding the paper perfectly @ 60mm on every print.
It appears to be doing it before it enters the fuser where the fold is then perfected!
    Any help greatly appreciated.

What jam code are you getting? Hard to help with so little information! Did you check the transport sensors?

aka as a paper jam? What jam code? =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
      1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
      2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
      3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
      4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
      5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

No jam code as the page is not getting jammed.. Page comes out folded perfectly onto the exit tray

Sounds like you have a feed clutch not letting go and over feeding. I take it there is no print on the folded portion?

            Please refer to images attached.
Image M6026 show the printed page folded beside an A4/letter size sheet. This is the way it comes out of the machine, folded perfectly straight & flat with no paper jam.
The second image M6026 1 shows the leading edge of the page printed perfectly except some of the image has transferred further down the sheet off the pressure roller where it has not fused correctly as it is not in direct contact with the upper fuser roller/ hot roller..

So the implication is that the paper folded in that very narrow section between the contact with the 2nd transfer roller (primary transfer and secondary transfer are completed), and the fuser inlet guides. My guess is that the paper wraps the 2nd transfer roller briefly before being drawn into the fuser, completing the fold. Perhaps there is damage to the second transfer bushings or guides that snags the paper? =^..^=

OK I will check the bushings, I didn't notice anything wrong with them and rollers were rotating freely on initial inspection.
No sign of damage to guides either.
I will take another look and let you know how it goes.

Thank you for your input blackcat4866

If it's happening consistently can't you stop the machine and check it out
