Don't have any samples to post but we've got a classic fuser temperature problem, streaking and offsetting. Starts happening on color images (not necessarily pictures) and then of course continues on anything else. It will clean up but it takes a while.
Here's what we've done:
Replaced the fuser (a couple times).
Replaced the IH Unit (used with only 300k on it).
Replaced the Front PWB since it controls the IH motor and core sensor.
Firmware is up to date.
Played with fuser temp a little bit, pushed up 5 degrees (always hesitate to get crazy on this).
When we replaced the IH Unit, it did last about 24k prints (7k color) before they complained of it again.
Color count is only 160k but the machine is more than 6 years old with 2.3 million total on it. It's never had a Maint. E kit done on it. Could it be some sort of overtoning in the colors?
We've metered the power outlet but we don't know what else could be on the circuit.
We've metered the IH PWB but don't know if it could be an intermittent issue on that board.
Has anyone seen anything like this that wasn't fuser or IH? Any ideas what we're missing?
