    mita Vi230 jam00

    Hi
I have a mita Vi230 showing jam oo in the radf intermittently, I have found 3 sensors which I have cleaned with canned air. When you place an original in the radf and press for a copy it comes up jam 00 and it is difficult to reset, can anyone help? Advice , Service manual , engineers code and sub code to check the sensors.
    Thanx in anticipation

Hi Gordie, firstly you should change that flag to a red one with a canon on it!! 1-0 to the arsenal..
When you blow the sensors out does the radf work at all?

I would say that a sensor is sticking which makes it difficult to reset, have looked in the manual and cannot see much info on jam codes.
    Maybe a strip down jobbie.
Does the code 00 come up in the display?
The only radf jam codes i can find are...
    J070 No original feed
J071 Jam in df original feed section 1
    J072 " " " " " 2

It defo sounds like a faulty or stuck sensor.

We had one with the same problem but we sent it up north!!!

      Hi
Thanx for your reply, the least said about Newcastle the better! I did not renew my season ticket this year and am I pleased!

It is a few days ago since I was at the machine as far as I can remember when you place an original in the radf it comes up jam 00 and I think it says paper jam in radf but the jam arrow lights up for the radf . when this happens I have moved all the sensor flags but the error will not clear. This is why I was hoping that there was the facility to test the sensors in the service mode but it is a bit difficult without a service manual..

      Regards gordie.

Ps I know your team is a lot healthier than mine but yuors does not appear to be firing on all cylinders this season.

I would greatly appreciate a copy of the service manual as I have no information on mita digital machines.
