Hi guys. I have a taska alfa 300i which was showing welcome on the screen. I changed the main, engine and operation panel board.and on upgrading the firmware it goes all through the process and completes . But when i boot up the machine after firmware upgrade its stuck on "restoring data in the Hdd this may cause a delay". Please help

Thanks for the reply . but with the original boards the machine does not pick the firmware. Its gets stuck on the welcome screen. many thanksComment

Unless you've had a catastrophic event, like a lightening strike, it's very unlikely that all the boards are blown simultaneously.
Start with original boards. Install (1) new board, Test. If no luck, re-install the original board, then try different board. Your shotgun approach is costly and not particularly effective. =^..^=If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Thanks for the reply black cat. I actually did a swap of the original panel on another machine but it still gave me the welcome screen and for the main board it does not perform boot up sequence on the machine..
I will redo it like you have advised one board at a time.many thanks and I will revert.Comment

hi . i did as advise on the boards one by one but still i get this restoring data in hdd. This may cause a delay. am curious though assuming i got all the 3 boards defective does it mean i cant get new boards/dimms and get this machine working again? do i have to rely on the original boards for the machine to work?
