I never removed a connector from the LSU unit. I only removed the metal cover to get to the slit glass to clean. I need to double check that nothing came loose when I was cleaning it.

It appears there's a broken pin on the transfer belt connecter but it's really hard to see.

As for pins, try to make a good picture of connector and zoom it to see better.

FYI you don’t need to disconnect this when just pulling out the transfer unit to access the drums/Devs.
You can just pull it out slightly.

          Any progress? =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
          1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
          2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
          3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
          4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
          5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

It's been a nightmare and it's still not fixed.

-I found a bent pin on the belt connecter. I replaced the connecter with no success.
              - Replaced wiring harness from that connector to the control board with no success.
              - Tried multiple transfer belt units with no success.
              - Replaced control pwb with no success.
-replaced entire laser unit with no success. (I did that after reading the tech bulletin posted in this thread.)

Yes, I pulled the connector and there was indeed a broken pin. Actually it was smooshed down. Anyway, I pulled a connector from a parts machine and replaced it. Still getting the same code.

did you check the machine side connector for the transfer belt. Its not easy to see a bent pin on that connector.
use a loop and a flash light

Surely this bent pin is the cause of your error??????

No, it did not fix my problem. Still getting the same code. When I saw the bent pin, I felt sure this was the problem. But it did not fix it.

PS - I think I bent the pin after I got the error code in the process of swapping transfer units.

Here's my latest problem on this damn machine. I tried updating the firmware after replacing the latest Control PWB and I'm getting the following error":

                          IH Error 0801

                          Any ideas?

Are you sure this error code is correct?

If it happened after you replaced the control board sounds like you have left a connector off or bent another pin.

Yes, the error code is correct. I'll double check for a connector that is unplugged or a bent bin. Thanks for your help.
