    Only U021 and U024 to clear the customers data, that all. no one needs to reset the counters for "normal" reasons

          Sure. Just keep making copies and prints until the counter turns to zero.

            As a matter of fact, yes, you can. It is very easy and takes less than a minute.
            But, ain't no way in hell I will tell anyone. I wouldn't do it for my boss (he was furious but tough shit), so I won't do it for anyone else. There is only one scenario when it would be OK to reset the meter, and that is when the machine has undergone a total rebuild, and is sold as such, with all new parts that are subject to any wear. That's right. It would cost more in parts and labor than a new machine so suck it up, fix it up and sell it for what it is. A used machine.
