TA 6001i - Starting Network Device every 1 to 2 minutes

It is actually a TA 6004i. F25A/F25E/FDEF in Error Log. Things done so far... Change IP Address. U917 backup, U021 init, U917 Restore all except network and system. Set network speed to 100 full duplex, switch back to auto as it made no difference. Put my switch between Kyocera and customer network Connect to Star Link WiFi instead of ethernet - still Starting Network Device - Switch back to ethernet. Replace Main Controller Board that contains the network ports - still Starting Network Device. Connect my laptop directly to the Kyocera and log into Command Work Center... observe... no longer getting the message Starting Network Device. Their Konica Minolta is not having network issues.

Has anyone discovered issues when Star Link is managing the network?

I am considering advising their IT to put the Starlink in pass through mode and manage the network with a router.

I'm currently troubleshooting a 3552ci the gets a regular F441 error code. Like you, I've done the main pwb, SSD, HDD etc. Then I started digging into it more & the error codes started the day after they installed Starlink. My next step is to install Wireshark and see what's happening on the network.
    Hope that helps !

I know this is a late reply, but we were having the same issues and what finally fixed them was turning off IPv6 wired and wifi. Hope this helps

If you have not resolved this issue yet, try turning off IPv6 wired and wifi on the 3552ci. That is what we had to do to finally resolve these same issues we were having.

We resolved the issue by requesting the IT company run the Starlink in bypass mode connected to a seperate router. Excellent point about the IPV6. That is something that was not tried or suggested with Kyocera Tech Support.

I always turn off IPv6 wired and wireless as part of my setup. I also turn off the wireless nic.

The way I see it, the majority of connections I do are hard wire IPv4. Leaving on IPv6 and the wireless nic are just things that can go wrong. If I find I need this stuff, I'll turn it on.

Disabling IPv6 seems to have resolved the F441. We do that when setting up machines, but this one was placed years ago before we started. No problems until they installed Starlink. Thanks for the recommendation.

I see several comments saying to turn off IPV6. My issue with that is that handheld devices (iPhones and iPads) only seem to work with IPV6 on. What am I missing?

Auto-IP has to be on for Airprint to work, but I've never had an issue disabling IPv6.
                  Hope that helps !

Auto-IP does not have to be on for Airprint to work, we turn it off on all installs and Airprint works as long as Airprint is turned on in Printer settings of Command Center.
