    Kyocera Taskslfa 5002i (C6770 error)

I have several Kyocera Taskalfa 5002i photocopiers with a recurring error C6770 which I have now resolved by replacing the entire fuser unit. I wanted to know if anyone has solved it by avoiding the costly replacement of the fuser unit!! Thank you

Nope. The fusers are junk. Only thing we do is turn on Quiet Mode so they don't run constantly, but then it slows the machine down a tiny bit and takes a little bit longer to first print.

We go into 346 and turn off fuser mode.

              What does that do?

explained in my post #4 by the attachment.
In case of sleep timer setting >10 minutes the fuser drive will not stop anymore and length from fuser belt will increase.
