Some times, not allways, After toner replacement some dark lines appear especially when making multile copies those lines become more intence and wide to last copies. and some times a little backgroun
Tones are genuin or KAtun. Usually i perform calibration , make black copies and U130 and it get better. It has to make some hundrents of copies in order to have a good image.
    Any idea?

I agree. Fit genuine toner, replace the black drum & update the firmware.

Agreed. I wouldn't suggest using after market toners, or anything for that matter. But we all know money talks pretty loud. Using third party toner is just asking for trouble usually.

My company finally started using only Kyocera OEM toner after over $3000 worth of transfer units, drum units, and developer had to be replaced just about all our xxx2ci and xxx3ci models out in the field. this goes for the many of our xxx2i and xxx3ias well. I tried to warn them about this, but they wouldn't listen. I think primary because the crap toner they had been buying from ACM and Katun, the xxx0ci, xxx0i, xxx1ci, and xxx1i ran OK.

To this date they still buy the previously stated crap toner for these older models. That leads to al lot of dusting and most times early replacement of developer, fuser, and drum units. And that's OK with me because the newer machines are running great with OEM toner and this justifies my pay.

              ....just sayin'
