I have included examples of the issue, but prints and internal prints are fine, scans off the glass give a deletion, and scans from the DP are extra festive in the same area as the glass deletion.
all thats been done at the moment is reset connectors. and check that the scanner LEDs all light through out the scan process. Kyocera's site is down at the moment, so i cant use those help tools. has anyone else ran across this or similar on these little guys.

I've had almost this same issue. I don't have an example unfortunately, but I was told to replace the CCD and ribbon cable. The downside, you have to ALSO order a calibration chart (302NV94330 - double check that) that was $96 USD at the time. Haven't had to use it since. Our lines were black, but same thing - 302R794320 was the part number for reference. If you can call tech support, I would.

Yep, looks like you have a failed CCD or cable.
