    Calibration marks issue 508ci

    On a 508ci
    I get these calibration marks on the page for the first few pages than it cleans off, than returns.
    I have replaced the transfer belt and the main voltage and I have check all the spring bias contacts

    Did the new transfer belt fix it for a while then return? or was the new belt ineffective at changing the behaviour? Can you be certain that the cleaning section of the belt is being driven? Try putting a mark on the gears, run the device, then look for the marks to see if they moved. have a look for signs of blockage in the waste passages for the belt as well...

      I'd suspect the waste auger system is obstructed. A new belt would be able to clean until it filled the primary transfer cleaner.

      If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
      1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
      2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
      3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
      4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
      5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
