    Utax 3206ci intermittently produces blank scans

    Hi ive a utax 3206ci that intermittently produces blank scans when using scan to folder also says problem reading document
    the machine is 100mile from me so just wondering if anyone had the same issue and could point me in the right direction

      when it starts making the blank scans, does it do the same thing when you try to make a copy?
      firmware?

              We don't know much, but it could be as simple as as the DP original sensor not detecting an original in the DP tray, or a piece of white paper laying across the slit glass. =^..^=
              If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
              1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
              2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
              3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
              4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
              5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

                  Problem only arises when scanning to folder working fine on normal copying using doc feeder
                  think the firmware is pretty much up to date but customer happy for me to call when in the area

                      Forgot to mention if they scan say 20 pages they are in the scan folder but blank
