    Taskalfa 4500 i developer unit

Image is too light. I tried with dev initialization snd calibration, forced toner supply with no result. 350 k copies has been made. Finally when i checked dev unit dev roller has not any toner or developer. Because i have long time to service this machine. There is always the possibility an other person to interfered. Can this happen with regular use? Also i plan to replace dev unit with an other from other machine. What programms to run.

Are you using Kyocera OEM toner?

These were a terrible dev unit even with genuine toner. 350k was a good life for these. We replaced many of these due to premature failure. Get a new unit if you can

In my last visit to customer i noticed that the toner was genuin kyocera toner. Because machine is in olivetti brant and kyocera machines doesn't fit in the machine they have made an intervension to toner cartridge. Can it affect the machine and to preset these problems?

According to Kyocera, when one changes out a developer unit, one should first run: U140 (Adjust Developing Bias > [AC Calib] > [Calibration] >[Execute] > [Start]
Then one should run Image Adjustment :
U464 (Set ID Adjustment Mode > [Calib] > [Execute] > [Start]
              U410 (Half Tone Adjustment)

The above is only for B/W machines. If one is to do an Image Adjustment on a Kyocera color machine, there are added steps.
If one has ever purchased a new developer unit, drum unit, fuser unit, transfer belt one has probably encounter a sheet in the box in different languages. I have noticed that over the years these procedures have changed very little. Whenever I pull any of these imaging components (developer unit, drum unit, transfer belt) out of a machine, I always run Image Adjustment. Never hurts.

Additionally, make sure ecoprint is turned off.
