Weird problem with a customers 5526 but im sure it happens with any Kyocera model. Since the latest Windows update some point this past December the latest kyocera twain driver scans with on scans shadowing around lettering. Things were fine before the update. Barely noticeable on the scan itself unless you enlarge it but when printed back to machine it is horrible. Whats funny is if its printed out on an HP its fine or doesnt show. At that point figured it was a print driver setting. Things ive already tried
All forms of Windows 11 kyocera print drivers (kx, pcl etc.)
Using current version of Kyocera Quick Scan Software
Customer using Adobe but tried opening document with different programs with same result.
Tried scanning with different formats. No change.
Tried older Twain driver with same results
Pretty much ruled out everything and down to something that the twain driver is doing to the document that is only recognized on a Kyocera machine printing it out. Almost like the scan is putting a highlight or trying to around the letters and pictures. Looks like a double print.
