Turn Off Paper Mismatch Confirmation at Machine

Hey everybody, I bet this has been asked quite a few times, but I need to know what to turn off within a Kyocera Ecosys M3540 that will make the copier quit complaining that the paper you're printing to does not match what the driver says you're printing to. I was looking through the command center today but I couldn't find anything that rang a bell. I was a kyocera tech for 4 years and seemed to remember there being a setting to turn off. I would really appreciate any help. Thanks y'all for reading!

Unfortunately I do not have the manual for this copier right now, but I'm trying to get our Kyocera dealer to email it to me. I found a post from Blackcat4866 that says basically there's no getting around the machine NOT ignoring media type. He says "That's just the way it works" That dude always knew his S so I'm thinking this is the truth. No matter what, driver media type and copier media type for the specific drawer have to match, and if they don't match, you'll get that error on the copier display and you'll have to press a button to bypass. I'm not done searching though.....

Thanks to all who have assisted

From the copier panel... go into the System Menu, Device Settings, Error Handling, set Paper Mismatch Error to Ignore and Wrong Size paper loaded to Ignore.

Remote workers are printing to a copier that's located at our collections department. There is a 2 page word document that is being populated with delinquent peoples' addresses. The second page of the document is an 8-1/2 x 11" page, but it's supposed to go onto an envelope. (who and why it was designed this way, Idk, but I'm trying to help a co-worker make this system work on the fly) We're trying not to make the people within the office have to get up and press the "confirm" button to make the printing begin. It's a crazy ass setup. They're going to print the first page and second page separately in Word. Directing first page to one drawer and then the second page to the MP tray. It all sounds ignorant because it is.

So to answer your question, we're trying to print an 81/2 by 11 onto an envelope

I believe this is the solution I was looking for! I be dang, but there are settings at the panel that are not in the command center, unless I somehow overlooked them, but I don't think so.

I have a customer that is printing Vehicle Ownerships from a Government website. The website prints to letter size, even though the paper is 8 1/2 X 7 (Half Legal).

This is how I got it to do it. Enjoy!!!
