    It was a multi-layer cascade of cockups on my part.

    When I had set my new laptop up I had downloded "Network Print Monitor" which looks IDENTICAL to the Net Viewer App. This software has not been updated since 2022, so no wonder it didn't work.

    I also discovered that when the app installs it requries admin elevation when you run it. After doing some digging I have discovered that the app saves the Workspace Folder into the Documents folder of the ADMIN user you use to run the app, not your logged in user profile if you choose Documents as the Workspace destination at initial setup.

    Now I have the actual Net Viewer installed and moved my previous workspace folder into the correct directory I can now see my previous workspace, all my saved configs and it appears to work fine with my 2508/3508/4008/5008ci machines (Kyo 2554ci etc).

    I owe you a beer for that.

    Follow up, do you have any of the new MZ2501ci devices?

    I have the UTAX version, 2509ci, and I cannot get the Net Viewer to Authenticate with these machines at all.
    I can login with the password in a browser no issues, but when inside Net Viewer it throws an Authenticaion Error each time.

    It is not a pressing issue for now, but I do have a few clients due for upgrade from the 2554ci series and it will be good to have this working.

    I have tried the version you linked, and the verison I have from UTAX and they are identical - 6.9.1213.

    We are about to receive our first shipment of the new MZ series shortly. Will know then if this version of Net Viewer covers it. With every new model there is a version update to include it, so I’m at least one version behind myself. We have been changing the password on all the new models that use the serial number back to Admin to make life easier. When machines fail to upload it’s always been the communication settings. Thanks for the feedback.

        just received this re KNV

        Currently it only supports:

        TASKalfa MZ3200i(J); TASKalfa MZ3200i; TASKalfa MZ4000i(J); TASKalfa MZ4000i; TASKalfa MZ2100; TASKalfa MZ2101; TASKalfa MZ2200; TASKalfa MZ2300

        But I have reached out to the team to find out an eta on the new KNV.

          Ahh. This matches the issues I was having with the new machines. Thank you for confirming, will just have to wait for the new version.

              Ok, re KNV version that supports the newMZ models.
              You will need ver 6.7.2201.4
              yes, this seems like a downgrade, but it’s specifically for the new series. Also appears to support all previous models.
              Note Ver 6.9xxx (or your current version) will need to be uninstalled before you try to install this as you will get an error that a later version is already installed.
