This call is 2 hours away. (Why can't problems like this be closer... lol) I went out there today and thought it was a printing issue by event log. But no... I have read the previous post on this on copytechnet. This copier has the latest f/w. Can anyone shed any light Thanks so much !!!

Re: Kyocera F245 When Setting copy on glass
On the Saturn I've seen firmware cause this. This is the "technical" description I have. Make what sense of it that you can:
CF24x An error is detected at the System management section. DDR2 memory check. A certain part of the memory may be faulty. The frequency of failure occurrence is dependent on the frequency of access to the faulty bit. The ASIC may be faulty if the memory is not. 1) Reseat or repl DDR2 memory: YS1 & YS2; 2) Reformat HDD U024 FULL; 3) Initialize backup memory U021; 4) Repl main PWB; 5) Repl HDD; 6) Retrieve USBLOG and contact SAD.
=^..^=If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

I would do full firmware, not the turbo, that way it rewrites everything. Clean the RAM with a pencil eraser or replace it if you have one available.
Back up the HDD with 917 and replace it.
It's always a good idea to unplug it from the network too, to make sure that it's not causing an issue.Comment
