    F053

I have a TA3253 that has caused a F0523 both times I have tried to upgrade the firmware.I fixed the problem both time by replacing the SSD with one from a machine in the shop.My next step is to replace the main pcb and see what it does.Any thoughts or have others run into this.

When you attempted to upgrade the firmware were you using the Turbo package? If a firmware file has become corrupted and the Turbo upgrade is the same version that is in the machine the Turbo package will skip it. For this reason when upgrading firmware we only use the full upgrade package and not the Turbo, we do not even download Turbo packages.

If you only have the turbo, delete the ES_SKIP.ON file to make it the full version.
        Hope that helps !

            Re: F053

We have had same issue on Perseus series at 1 big endcustomer (>50 systems).
On several systems we got F053, secure boot error.
We took log file and send to KDC for further investigation.
In their investigation, they found anther trigger of power on SSD in our log.

While sleep state, Genius Byte application state requests every 5 minutes.

As a result, it becomes SSD power on and SSD write- read cycles exeeded, finally SSD dead.
