If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
What model ADF? I've had problems with the one-way bearing in the gear pack. If you put a little pressure on the roller with your finger, it will stop turning. A sure sign that the bearing is slipping. Good luck.
Adversity temporarily visits a strong man but stays with the weak for a lifetime.
The simplest ones for hesi pulls are like what was mentioned dirty/slipping pickup rollers ( the turtle shell looking ones) on the upper or the belt. If not those 2 then the 3rd option for hesitation is checking the torque limiter for a crack in it. Its under the black plate(2 screws) inside the yellow/green/grey whichever color sep roller your using. It just slides right in. They break all the time.
