    Looks to me like something is in the drum seal/blade area causing toner to drop. Could also be primary belt cleaning, but that's not a normal defect.

      problem visible in margin areas --> charge related
      Remove MC, disassemble cleaning blade, check for foreign objects at first
      Hopefully no blocked waste forwarding to waste drive unit
      In case of waste blocking, follow up tmaged and check waste drive from belt also.

          the developer is likely puking toner, which has been an issue for that model in the early days. it will be instantly obvious upon visual inspection of the developer unit.

            I went ahead and replaced the maintenance kit.
            Everything looks good but they did say it was happening intermittently so we will see.
