Perhaps the toner level is getting low, and it goes into a toner add cycle. Does it display: "adding toner"?
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Just to be sure, when you say copying, is that to set a document on the glass or in the ADF and make a copy, or you printing something to the machine via a computer?

Are you using OEM Kyocera toner or aftermarket compatible?

Have you checked to see that all of the paper trays are behaving this way (run something through the MP tray to compare)? Feed rollers may be worn out, separation pulley has flat spots.
