    M3040i admin

Don't know Kyocera that well. When trying to get into admin mode on the web interface page it shows "you cannot login". I used the default user & pass in service manual, 4000-4000. If I try different user / password it comes up "incorrect username or password" so think it's the right user & pass?

Is it necessary to use web interface to setup printing & scanning or can it be done at the machine without logging in? It pulled an IP address that I used to enter web interface page. If setup can be done from control panel will just do it there?

    Thanks for the help.

You can always run U021 and reset everything. More than likely, you'll need to log in to the web interface to change TLS versions, etc.
    Hope that helps !

You cannot be logged into Service/Maintenance Mode at the device when you are trying to login via the Web interface (CommandCenterRX) Only one chef in the kitchen at a time!

You always start with the Operation Panel->System Menu for the basic TCP/IP setting (static or dhcp reservation). There are some settings you cannot access from System Menu on some lines like DNS/Domain if not applied via DHCP and other protocol settings(SMTP/TLS levels) best to use the web interface once the device is connected.

Thanks for the info, so is 4000-4000 the correct admin user name and password?

I usually just use Admin Admin. I get mixed up on the numbers frequently.

Both work but the Admin can get a changed password.

Admin - Admin worked! Just to be clear for anyone else that sees this post the "A" is upper case and will not work if lower case is used.

              Thanks again for the help!
