    Re: error code

    Wow!

Welcome to the Clairvoyant Copytechnet network where we can solve you problems with just an error code and manufacture name.

Don't bother with a model number or any circumstances around the problem.

We know it before you hit enter on your keyboard.

I would like to help you out but there is scant information.

Really, garyk, you should know better if you have really been a member since 2007.

Everyone here acting like every Keyocera doesn't have the same error codes. Don't flame the guy help him. OP, that error code points to a HDD error. Try running U989 then U024. If that doesn't solve the issue, you may have a bad HDD. Could also be sure that the HDD's connected are seated well. Good luck!

That's not the point. Some posters are just plain lazy and wants things put on a platter for them. Does not matter that kyocera codes are all the same in Most instances. They are being spoilt and encourages bad post and the rhetorical questions that follow as to the post scant info. At least the minimum, the manufacture and MODEL number should be stated. Don't encourage bad behaviour.

Encouraging first post here. I can see why you all are left weeks later on a reply, cause if it isn't to just the right specifications of what you want, you won't help. Joined this on recommendation of another tech, but i see this is just as toxic. I DO see your point, OP could've been more descriptive, but all the same he provided all the info needed to help him. Given the high and mighty need for descriptive service, im surprised that you guys help any end-users at all. Can't wait for you guys to call me for assistance then get mad when I make you wade through every simple question imaginable.

Don't worry, mfarmer, if you don't like this kitchen, you are welcome to leave. I also would never ask you for any assistance. From your two posts, I don't think you have any practical knowledge or experience that would help me in any way.

There are plenty here who have and continue to help others long before you came along and will do so long after you take your prissy "toxic" attitude and leave. From the tone of your only two posts ever, you seem to me as the kind of person that's just looking to be triggered so you can start wagging your finger in everyone's face and letting them know how toxic they are because they triggered you. How pitifully hilarious.

Also, not every code in every manufacture products always have the same meaning. That's why manufacture model and circumstance have relevance.

                  Re: error code

Glad were getting such incite from a newbie tech who knows all there is to know about kyocera....maybe peeps should just put up random jam codes with no explanation and you can solve it for us.

                    Re: error code

This is just my opinion, but it seems to me that we are getting a lot of end users joining for some reason.

I thought this was a forum for techs.

                    ....oh well....

I just saw this thread. Techs have to put up with a lot of stupid bullshit from our customers. I'd like to think that a fellow tech could provide more information than a simple error code. It's disrespectful and it's not our responsiblity to pry information out of the guy. Kick rocks.

A lot of wind there. Call any manufacturer for any product in the world and what is the first question they would ask you. Why is it any different here. It is to be specific and not take things for granted. Oh, forgot you are new here and have not seen all the crap, just for the lack of proper information.
The seasoned techs would understand your point, but there are many people from all over the world here and if you start to accommodate bad posting or lack of pertinent info, then a thread just drags and waste time .
