Hello everyone,
My copier UTAX CDC1725 (identical in construction to Kyocera Taskalfa 250ci) kindly informed me today that the black toner is empty. Fortunately, I have three cartridges here and replaced the toner accordingly.
After the exchange, the copier adds the toner. So far so good.
However, after a few minutes, I then get a message to please insert a new cartridge because the one I inserted is empty. The first time, I thought nothing of it and took the cartridge out again, shook it again, and put it back in. Same game... Toner empty.
Then I tried the same thing with the other two new cartridges and got the same result.
I do not get an error message with an error code.
The cartridges are definitely full and are new, even if they are a bit older.
When filling with toner, I also imagine I hear the corresponding motor. So something is turning. It just seems like the toner isn't getting to where it's supposed to be getting to....
Does anyone have any ideas what I can do and/or test here?
Have a fear that because of all the filling, there is now a good bit of toner floating around somewhere in the machine. Also, does anyone here have any ideas if this could be detected right off the bat?
I am glad about every answer!
Many greetings and a happy Father's Day
