Color Density Issue on Kyocera P8060cdn

Having some issues with color density being lighter towards one side.

Attached is a photo of a letter sized paper folded over to show the difference in density.

This affects all colors. Would this indicate a problem with the transfer belt? The paper is fed sideways (from the long side).

I can't tell a whole lot from you example. Can you print all the solid images and post them? Thanks.

P8060cdn is the printer version of Iris.

What have you done so far? =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
              1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
              2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
              3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
              4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.

Re: Color Density Issue on Kyocera P8060cdn

Attached are further prints from U089. There this issue is not evident. Seems to affect only light fill.

So far I have tried the various refresh, cleaning, calibration options under maintenance.

Also played around with the service mode options but since the service manual is not available online for this model I have not gotten very far.

"P8060cdn is the printer version of Iris."
Had to look up what Iris was. Does that mean it's complicated, wasteful but produces beautiful prints?

Oh, one question I forgot to ask: Are you using Genuine Kyocera toner? Generic toner could cause that.

If the effect is as subtle as you say, I would start with new primary charge rollers, cleaning laser slit glasses, and full calibrations again. =^..^=

Thank you for the suggestions. Will look at that those when it gets worse. Feeding the paper short edge first circumvents the problem for now.

Yes, using OEM toner (starter cartridges).

Took about a month to reach 5,000.

Perhaps high voltage. Maybe there is toner on high voltage clean it otherwise replace it.
