Post them here, and they'll take the credit in a bulletin. ^..^=

Nothing in the manuals, no bulletins, the hotline released very little ... This was in the days when D-Net was thriving. I started a thread amongst the elite Kyocera guys at D-Net: What are your experiences with CFxxx codes? Which codes? How did you fix? ANY information you have? ... and I put it together in an Excel spreadsheet, posting it into the thread. A couple of weeks later Kyocera decided to release a bulletin about the meaning of CFxxx codes. There were no real fixes in the bulletin, but they did define the codes in a way that made it more understandable. And I think we would still be guessing if I hadn't started that thread.

So they may never admit it, but they are watching. =^..^=
Very cool story. Thanks for sharing.

Last week i finally got to fixing the problem (i also had to preplace a black drum and it took forever for the part to arrive). The white arm was indeed broken. thanks for the tip!

Most likely its what BC said. Look at the white arm. If its bent you will see a stress mark in the plastic. I usually flip them onto the front to see.

Have you looked at the paper empty flag yet? They can get bent, damaged.

Also the paper size switches wear out.

Do you hear any load clicking when the paper lifts?

    Ecosys M6230cidn casette empty message

    hi everybody,

i have a M6230cidn that gives me the message that the casette is empty even though the casette is full. sometimes it accepts that the casette is full but when i print a job it stops after 5-6 pages and says that the casette is empty. i'm going back with another casette tomorrow maybe the lifting mechanism is busted. i can hear the lift motor working tough.

    Any other ideas?
Working...
