[CQ] Ecosys m6635cidn Vertical Black marks

I have a MK on order but no ETA
I am thinking either black drum unit or transfer belt problem.
    Any input always appreciated.
    Sample enclosed.
    Thanks

It's all about elevated internal temperature, fusing black waste toner to the drum surface. Start by shortening up the sleep timer to 5 minutes. Then replace the black drum. There is a new style black drum, but the sleep setting makes the most difference. All the Mebius, Mebius2, and Gemini machines suffer this ailment.

If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

      Many thanks Blackcat.
When the MK shows up I will apply your suggestion.
In the meantime I will adjust the sleep time.
      Best Regards

Also, there is a new firmware update that adjusts the sleep temp to almost off, Keeps it pretty cool.... The latest F.W. update is dated August 7, 2023 (2V0_S000.004.003)

The MK ships with the old style drum so the marks may come back after the MK is installed.

If you've done everything already suggested and the marks come back you'll need to swap in the new drum. PN : 302NR93180
