In the setup instructions there is a procedure for tightening the screws. I would start there. How about the fuser? Is it getting hard to turn?

        J6101 on 11x17.
It will jam from any cassette, or mp tray
I have also replaced the fuser, only about 50k copies o machine. I have seen the same issue on different machine. but most customers dont run 11x17
        or run very little.

When you said you shimmed the paper pass unit, was that to push it tighter together? I would inspect that whole unit and check to see if anything has deformed or cracked, even a tiny one can cause issues. Also see if you can pass paper through it when it's out of the unit by turning the rollers by hand - but NOT putting pressure on them; to see if the rollers have enough pressure between them to pass the paper on their own.

How about checking if the paper stack limit plastic piece is still on the exit flag?

I have not seen this on any of these units, with such a low count I have a hard time believing there is something broken.

            Keep us posted!

seems to be a firmware problem from system if AK would installed on 4054ci.
Found similar case regarding J6101 only in case of 11x17 on several systems.
Set to thick/ heavy 1 solved the problem, but speed decreased for plain.
Finally change from exit motor speed fixed it.

Curious what mode is that? Interesting you'd think that would through all the timing out.

Any definite solution to this AK-7110 jamming problem on 11 x 17?

I'm getting j4918, j4912 bridge conveying sensor 1 stay jam only on 11 x 17 with paper stalled about to exit AK-7110

I'm looking into the exit motor speed.

                    Re: AK-7110 Jamming

Thanks KYO_OEM, I adjusted exit motor speed to -3500 in u053 motor 3 as shown above.

The 11 x 17 jamming problem seems to be resolved.

Could this adjustment also help cure 500x non arrival jams in the AK-7110?

i don`t think so, but i would take care for the oneway pulleys #36 for the driving belts and the belts #37+38 itself.
