[Misc] Calibration ruined my black density TA-3051ci

Put a new black drum, and new color main chargers as well as a Primary Transfer Assy on this TA-3051.
I printed a Status Page before I did calibrations. All colors were dense.
Started calibrations, at 412 the copier printed a nice half tone page.
When scanned, it gave a message "Set Default" and did not print pages 2 and 3.

464 then 410 which showed weak and wavering blacks.

    412 again was flawless.
No matter what I tried, report 412 was perfect, and the other prints horrible blacks.
What would cause this? Does the copier use a different rule for 412?
I tried adding toner forcibly, but I do not think it is the replaced items or the dev unit.
Stanger things have happened I guess.
Any help would be appreciated. Tech support was leaning toward a hi volt PCB or two.

U119, U930 would done at first after assembling from new drum and MC?
      regarding your question:
      YES!
System is using fixed values for printing from U412 (U089 also)
      Why?
How system can read drum surface resistance if target is unknown?
How it can calculate the laser power depended to the diff. areas on the drum if the values not fixed?
Switch off "Set AC Auto Adj" by U100 for testing only and check the pages by using initial values instead of calculated values for printing.
In most cases important U119 and/ or U930 wouldn`t done and system is working with wrong data.
      e.g.
System will increase the needed voltage for MC depended to the life time/ less power needed in case of 10 pages --> more power needed in case of 300.000 pages
More often i would asked because of C5101 after exchange from black DK unit.
I always ask for U000 in this case, because the system don`t lie.
      e.g.
U110 = 1500 pages and U930 = 600.000 pages as a result too high HV for MC/ set U930 to same value as U110 and problem was gone.....
Typical conversation between tech and me:
Before i check U000/ or tech tell me the values by phone, i ask him if ALL adjustments would done by HIM?
      99% answer: YES!
Question: But why U110 and U930 are different ?
Answer: The drum would mounted by my colleague
Question: I asked you if all adjustments would done by you and your answer : YES, WHY?
No more answer, silence on the end of the phone line...
In most cases, if U119 and U930 wouldn`t done, all other adjustments also missing.
This is the reason why i prefer to us U952 workflows.

If you run all adjustments in the right way, please share U000/ maintenance report for further analysing.

Found the problem. The new black drum was bad. Not the Main Charger, just the drum.

Good work. It's tough sometimes to let yourself admit that the brand new part might be faulty. Sadly it happens more and more on these older models and in many cases you may be replacing the drum or developing unit for a weak image only to find the new stuff is just as bad or worse. But when it had the same defect you're trying to eliminate, that's just not fair.
