[Misc] Photo background is printing grey instead of white

Hi,

I have a problem with my ecosys M5521cdn.
When i print a document with text and images from pc or usb the background's color of image is gray instead of white.
If i try to copy and print the same image from the scanner, the background is ok.
If I print a document with only text, the print is perfect.

I used without problems the printer for 3 years (3500 copies)
I tried to clean the drum and DEV, but the result is the same...

Could you help me?

Hi marieddu I have the exact same issue with my M5526cdw. I wonder if you solved it and what was the cause.

Ok. A few questions. 1: genuine or generic toner. 2: print the Status page and test page and post here. This eliminates your PC and the scanner from the equation. 3: what print driver are you using.

Check and revert to the previous print driver. If it has updated then it may be the cause.
