Just a quick update. The motors were replaced on the 250, it worked for a couple of days then quit working again. It was deemed dead and is being returned to Kyocera. We also have a 400 (with less than 1000 copies) and a 500 (with a whole bunch of copies) that have been shipped back to be worked on, as they are also giving C7XXX codes. We have pulled parts off of our 400 machine (our showroom model) to keep others running. I will post another update when I learn more.If at first you don't succeed, redefine successComment

Are you guys having the same C7xxx issues with the firmware updated to the latest levels? I was just curious...But I'm trying, Ringo. I'm trying real hard... to be the Shepherd.

We only had the problem on one machine and it had v5 on it when it developed the problem. It now has new motors and new v6 firmware. My mission here on Earth is to help all you Dum-Dums!Comment

I got the same info, there is revised part with a higher rated fuse that will hit the streets soon but as of today, they weren't even in the system on KMAConnect.
If you are looking for motors which are currently backordered you can order the entire drive assembly, the assemblies for the 250/300 and 400/500 were both available.Comment

You've probably already noticed the bulletin on this subject, just a few days ago. In short, it's a blown resistor on the motor's driver board. The new production motors have a higher value resistor (250 ohms to 350 ohms). All covered by warranty.
I don't know how I lucked out. I haven't seen any trouble yet.If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
