    4035 stops?

Was at a customer yesterday and while copying the machine stops in middle of cycle gives a J46 misfeed and bunches up at fuser causing an accordian. The LCC rollers were all just replaced, and I cleaned the spring clutches. The fuser drive gears look fine. I am thinking to just re-flash it but need a CF card reader. Any help would be great thanks.

    Lead Edge Void?

Is there a 3mm lead edge void? There should be. How about heat roller bearings or pressure roller bearings? You say that the paper accordions in the fuser, and to me, that seems the logical place to start. =^..^=

If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Thanks, yeah I should have said that it will make 50+ copies and then decide to slow down and stop. Can see it hesitate/stop coming out of eject section. Took out the fuser and turned by hand and that is fine.

The J46 is specific to fuser jams from the paper deck. The paper may be skewing in the vertical path and snagging up in the fuser, which is one of the narrower parts of the machine. For me, the next step is to clean and/or replace the vertical path rollers and clutches. Also check the door fins for paper cuts, and idlers for missing pressure springs.

I'm supposing that the majority of the machines paper originates in the paper deck. Are there any other J4x jams? =^..^=
