    Hello all I have a copystar cs-1510

    and When I turn it on it gives me a A 400 error code I try searching here for erroe code with that copier but no luck, Any ideals Thanks

    a 400----laser scanner unit issue-----polygonal motor blocked-----try to unlock it and if you fail you will have to change

      There is one situation where it could be something easy.

      If the machine was left out in the cold car overnight then delivered the next morning, the polygon mirror would be cold in the newly warm environment and collect condensation. Simply waiting a few hours to let the machine acclimate (and allow the condensation to dry) might be enough to solve this problem. Otherwise I agree with charly. =^..^=

      2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
      3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
      4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
      5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

          Correction!
          C4000 is a laser error

          A0400 is some sort of communication issue between PWBs or accessories. Most often you can just power off/on to reset.
          I don't have the manual for this one, so I can only make an educated guess based on the error number. Sorry about the confusion. =^..^=

              You can get the trouble codes for this machine here: Home probably going to have to replace mirror motor I have tried removing and lubing lasted for a while but came back. good luck....... Ant.
