Try replacing the yellow separation pad in front of the sep roller. I've also had to bend the metal that the sep pad sits on, usually away from the sep roller.

I believe I had also replace the Sep Pad in front of the sep roller "on a different machine" along with the ADF Pick-Up, Feed Sep Roller and Torque Limiter and that did not work. I did not get the chance to figure it out since they decided to buy a new machine from me. I will look into that Sep Pad mechanism a little bit more and try bending it away from the Sep Roller.
      Thanks aragul.

try checking the wiring at the back of the feeder that connect to the machine, try point to point wiring check.verify each wire continuity.i encountered that problem before. and repairing the wiring works for me.

Okay, Here's the Up-date on this issue: (1) Prior to replacement of the Sep Pad Front on the ADF; i tried bending the Sep Pad Front as indicated by aragul. and that did not work, so positioned pad, back to its original angle.
          (2) Replaced the White (yellow) Front Sep Pad on the ADF. As usual; my tests all went well at that time. It has been about two weeks since and have followed up with user but have not had a reply from User.
If i hear from user, will update this posting.

perhaps try to look with my suggestion about the wiring, they were about around eight wires on it wont consume so much time, loose connections on some of the wire( intermittent).....

Here's an Update: Finally got a reply from User as he indicated that the problem was still present. After further investigation/Isolation of the problem concluded that I should devote my attention to this assembly: Part Number 3BRO7060 Guide, Paper Feed. FYI: I have inspected this (PN: 3BR07060) several times prior and again just recently and it does not appear warped, cracked, broken and it is seated properly. Once I have finished troubleshooting this assembly, will then update this again. This far I have swapped Guide, Paper Feed from a different machine and installed the new Sep Pad Front on it and awaiting reply from User.

happicopy, i apperciate ur reply but, don't think that its an electrical issue because the ADF Paper Seperation mechanism is strictly a mechanical mechanism. My issue is Paper Seperation.

happicopy, no apology required. I appreciate the help and all replies and I am very surprised that it was the wires. Please don't be discouraged for replying as i said; i do appreciate the replies and don't mean to offend anyone. I will most likely, on my next visit check the wires since you have brought it to light.
