cear copies on a KM 6030

    Hi,

On a KM-6030 after replacing MK Fuser drive the machine began printing and photocopying clear. Responses were all parts of MK, replacing the high voltage board, engine board and there was a firmware upgrade and the machine continues to print and photocopy clear.

May you add some ideas to resolve this situation?

    Regards

When you say "clear", do you mean "blank" or "no print"?

To get to the fuser drive pack it's necessary to unplug the scanner connectors to swing the circuit board mount aside. Could you have left a few connectors unconnected?

Have you stopped the machine with paper under the drum to determine if there is a developed latent image?
If there is a latent image you have lost transfer current. If there is no latent image you may have lost primary charge, developing bias current, or developing agitation.

On a side topic, have you cleaned up the rust and iron dust resulting from the destruction of the iron gears in the fuser drive pack? That iron dust can cause premature failure of the duplex circuit board. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
