    KM-5050 Squishing Text

Machine has low copy count, runs great. Only problem appears to be that the trail edge has a sort of blur to it. Seems to "squish" letters together about 1/4 to 1/2" in on the trail edge. Any ideas?
Happens on prints and copies, even internal reports.

    Thanks

When you say "squish", do you mean in the paper feed direction, or the crossfeed direction? Does it also affect self-prints, reports, (not-scanned images)? Is the rest of the image properly registered? =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Yes, as I stated, it happens on prints/copies/internal report prints. Rest of copy looks fine.

As in how it the squish oriented in relation to the direction of paper travel?

          AND

Is it the same on all paper sources and sizes including the MP Tray?

          AND

Does it happen on every page out of the machine?

yes happens on everything. As paper leaves the machine it is on the TRAIL EDGE of the page. So, letter, (not letter-r), has squished print on right side of page when exits.

It's stalling for some reason when it exits. Check the one way in the switchback or more properly exit section.
