    PF-760 etc. C1130 FYI

Hi Ithought I would post this as a new one to me.
Had a bulk bin giving this code C1130 intermittently over a few months.
A couple of techs visited the m/c cleaned the sensors checked the wiring unplugged and reset them and the m/c worked fine sometimes for weeks. Then it happened 2 times in 2 days, I went there and found no lift on the right side but the motor was turning. I removed the tray and checked for paper behind and found the spring loaded coupling was stuck back. I removed the motor and found the white plastic shaft with the sping coupling on was ever so slightly twisted giving a cork screw effect and locking the coupling fully back. This stopped the connection between the tray lift mech and the coupling resulting in the code.
    hope this is usefull.

Cool! This is a common Ricoh issue also. Grease doesn't usually help. Occasionally I've taken the time to file out the keyed opening through the coupler, so it can return better. It's just one of the limitations of making drive shafts out of plastic.

    Thanks for sharing. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
