    cs 4035-excess lead margin

    hi
Has anyone seen too much lead void? I can make the void larger but not small enough. 3/8"
Through feeder and on glass...I tried on one at the shop and the adjustments won't change void, but if I change print lead margin, it changes d.f. margin. but it won't go - even though it says -3mm... any ideas?
    Thanks

Ok do you have it center - lined? All the other adjustments right?

Maybe the reg clutch is magnetized, prefeeding the paper, making the image late.
Do U034, top and left, then U402 for voids. If you still cannot get down to 3mm lead edge void replace the registration clutch, and do the adjustments again. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
      1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
      2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
      3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
      4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.

OK....With a finisher installed, "trail edge" on copies, is actually lead edge, in the "print" margin adjustments...(the one where you adj in .1mm) It did not have the print option so..... Problems like this make that ICECOLD Friday beer taste better!!! Have a good weekend........

Does this mean it's resolved? I'm guessing you were trying to adjust the lead edge void, but in actuality were adjusting the trail edge void. =^..^=

UMMMMM, When I adj "trail edge margin" by the book, it changes lead void and when I go minus, I can eliminate lead void all together. By the book, that shouldn't be possible...just another day at the office...
